| Abstract: | This paper presents and analyzes "cultural deficit" and "unbalanced foreignization" in cultural com- munication between China and the West. It proposes that Chinese translators make a path change in translation and try to keep a balance of "foreignization" so as to cut down "cultural deficit". |
