大业非皋陶辨

赵(嬴秦)族第一位男性始祖大业与被后世尊奉为中国司法鼻祖的皋陶,同出于古东夷族少皞系部族。但自汉代以来,一些学者却误将两者混为一人,后遂以讹传讹。研究先秦及汉代典籍的相关记载可以看出,皋陶并非伯益之父;考查皋陶与伯益所处时代、居住地及其后裔的分布情况,也证明二者并非父子关系。因此,大业与皋陶绝非同一人。

An Argument for Daye Being not Gaoyao

Daye was the first male ancestor of the Zhao and Ying family,and Gaoyao has been regarded as the originator of Chinese judicial by generations.As both of them came from Shaogao tribe of ancient Dongyi nationality,some scholars had mixed the two men for one person since the Han Dynasty and this misconception continued until later.It can be seen by researching related records in the classics of Pre-Qin and Han that Gaoyao is not the father of Boyi with the evidence of the age,place of residence and the distribution of descendants of them.Therefore,Daye and Gaoyao were not the same person.
