| Abstract: | This thesis discusses which items are the most difficult ones in the TEM4, why they are difficult to the students of the English Department of Guangzhou Normal University and how these difficulties can be overcome in teaching and learning .Besides, the author points out other essential factors which helped bring about the students' success in the TEM4 of 1998. |
