社会符号学视阈下霍译《葬花吟》言内意义的再现--以修辞的翻译为例

采用“意义相符，功能相似”的社会符号学翻译标准，以双关、典故和重复三种修辞的翻译为例，探讨了《葬花吟》霍译本中言内意义及相应功能的再现。分析表明，英汉两种语言符号的差异在某种程度上导致了言内意义及相应功能在翻译过程中的流失。因此，在诗歌翻译的过程中，要注重言内意义的转换，尤其是修辞的再现。

On the Reproduction of Linguistic Meaning of Zang Hua Yin Rendered by Hawkes from the Perspective of Sociosemiotics:A Case Study of Translation of Rhetorical Devices

Based on the sociosemiotic criterion of “correspondence in meaning and similarity in function”,this paper intends to study the translation of puns,allusion and repetition as well as the due linguistic meaning with the corresponding functions in Zang Hua Yin rendered by David Hawkes.The analysis in this paper suggests that the differences between English and Chinese lead to the loss of linguistic meaning and due functions to some degree.Therefore,great importance should be attached to the rendering of linguistic meaning,especially the reproduction of rhetorical devices.
