| 摘 要： | 屯门是香港历史最悠久的一处地方,在唐代到清代香港古代史的发展中占有重要的地位。过去有学者主张古代屯门所指乃今日深圳的南头,并非香港的屯门。其实细考历史文献,证之于有关地域的地理特征,可以确证古代的屯门即今日香港的屯门。

| Abstract: | Tuen Mun is the first place in Hong Kong that appears on ancient Chinese historical records. From Tang Dynasty down to the Qing period, Tuen Mun had always been the most important area of Hong Kong. However, some recent studies suggest that ancient Tuen Mun was not part of Hong Kong, but was located at present time Nan Tou, Shenzhen. This paper aims to revisit the debate on the location of Tuen Mun based on a cross examination between the written materials and the geographical significance of the area concerned. |
