当下社会高度关注的农民问题,在许多方面依然不能涵盖农村妇女的问题.农村妇女在急剧的城市化进程中,既要面对城乡二元结构带来的严酷现实,又要承受当今社会还普遍存在的性别压迫.因其特殊的双重身份,她们的生存和命运更为边缘化、悲剧化.无论进城还是还乡,她们从精神上都成为这个特定时代无家可归的人.

Rural Women in the Context of Urbanization in Contemporary Chinese Fiction

The rural problem that has drawn considerable public attention does not relate itself to the rural women, while the rural women have become an increasingly serious problem in the process of China's urbanization.Contem- porary fiction needs to confront itself with the severity and complicatedness of the social situation,particularly the oppression that rural women are now suffering from,the marginalization of this segment of the population,which, render them homeless and outcast whether in the country or in the city.
