新自由主義與多元文化

新自由主義是一種哲學思想和解決社會問题的方法。其主要觀點是自由化、私有化、市場化,反對國家干预、公有制和社會主義,減少造成懒惰的社會保障;經濟全球化,政治多元化,經濟利益與國家安全同等重要。多元文化不僅包含民族、文化的平等與共存,而且包括解決人類問题方法的多樣、自由的選擇。對待新自由主義思想,要像對待多元文化一樣,在可取可棄、自由競爭中去包容它。

Neoliberalism and Multi-culturalism

Neoliberalism is a philosophy aimed at solving social problems. Its major notions include liberalization, privatization and marketization. It opposes government intervention, public ownership and socialism. It advocates a reduction in social welfare, which it perceives as inducing laziness, as well as economic globalization, political diversity, and gives equal importance to economic interests and national security. To the Neoliberal, multi-culturalism is not just about equality and co-existence among peoples and cultures, but also comprises diverse, free choices with regard to the solutions to human problems. One should treat Neoliberalism as treat multi-culturalism, tolerating it in a context of free competition, whether to be accepted or abandoned.
