中国哲学的历程--兼论近现代中国学术思想的转型

在中国长达四千余年的历史文化发展中,中国哲学一直是在自己特有的地理人文环境、语言文化背景和政治、经济、社会等综合条件下成长发育的,因此形成了有别于西方文化和哲学的话语系统、逻辑结构、价值取向、真理判断标准、哲学终极关怀等独特的品格和特质,并且一直以比较稳定的形态存在和发展。这一态势一直到近代方被打破,出现了中西方文化及哲学的激烈冲撞和辩争。其中,包括中国哲学在内的学术思想,在多元思潮的激荡、角逐中,经历了一场旷世难遇、痛苦环生的排拒、超越、接受、容纳、调适、重组等一系列重新选择和发展的历史过程。最终选择了一条在充分吸收先进文明的认识成果的基础上,既不忘记本民族的地位,也不轻贱本民族的哲学智慧,经过对中国哲学的调适,使其成为新时代的理论文化资源,从而使中国在走向世界的过程中,保持民族文化与哲学的认同。从上世纪二三十年代起,胡适、梁漱溟、冯友兰、金岳霖、熊十力、贺麟、汤用彤等人即已为中国哲学的现代化开辟了道路,在全球化浪潮和人类文明面临新挑战的今天,中国哲学不仅应成为中华民族和平崛起的文化承担者,而且更应为人类未来作出自己的贡献。

The Making of Chinese Philosophy

The Chinese philosophy has developed in the history of 4000 years. Under the peculiar environmental, cultural and linguistic conditions and political, economic and social backgrounds, it differs from the western culture and philosophy in many perspectives, such as the mode of discourse, structure of logic, value orientation, criterion of truth judgment and ultimate concerns. The tradition of Chinese philosophy brought off in the modern time when Chinese thoughts had been in conflict with western ones. After a difficult process of refutation, re-evaluation, acceptance, accommodation and transformation, the Chinese philosophy has chosen a new direction for its development. Philosophers in modern times, such as Hu Shi, Liang Shuming, Feng Youlan, Jin Yuelin, Xiong Shili, He Lin and Tang Yongtong, opened up the modernization of Chinese philosophy during the time between 1920s and 30s. Facing the challenge of globalization, the Chinese philosophy today undertakes the cultural construction for the peaceful rise of china, and contributes itself to the human thoughts in the future.
