| Abstract: | Wang Yi's The Introduction of the Art of Verse in the Yuan Dynasty with Tone Patterns Modeled on Folk Music is a great achievement made in the present research into the art of verse in the Yuan Dynasty with tone patterns modeled on folk music. The book provides some comments from the microcosmic angle. The profoundness and detail make it quite different from other books. Moreover, the research tendency from dispersion to integration has emerged in this book. This paper gives some comments from such aspects as unique academic viewpoint, various research methods and distinctive position of time and space. |
