| 摘 要： | 英语新闻中常运用隐喻,以体现语言美感,引起读者兴趣。准确理解英语新闻中的隐喻是准确翻译这些隐喻的前提。英语隐喻理解的关键在于结合具体语境,抓住本体、喻体和二者相似点。而英语新闻中隐喻的翻译要注重选用恰当的翻译策略,以直译为主,结合意译方法。

| Abstract: | English news,highly appreciates metaphors for language aesthetics and readers' interest.A thorough understanding of metaphor in English news is the prerequisite for its adequate translation.A good comprehension of metaphors needs a complete grasp of thing-in-itself,vehicle,as well as their similarities in certain context.Literal translation should be the main approach,with liberal method when necessary. |
