An Analysis of the Effect of Pragmatic Context

The pragmatic context should include three factors:context,context of situation and context of nation- al culture tradition.Context contains oral context and written-language context.Context of situation includes time, place,topic,occasion and participants.These subjective and objective factors play an important role in pragmatic context.As for context of national culture tradition including historical cultural background knowledge,social rules and customs,values,it is more culture-oriented.Certain cultural background knowledge is fundamental for success- ful and effective communication.
