Abstract: | Guidelines are given for the presentation of numerical results as tables for publication in internal reports and scientific journals. General aspects of layout are covered, such as number of digits in a tabulated value, spacing, headings, and allocation of classifying factors to rows and columns. Guidelines are also given for determining whether means should be given for all factor-level combinations and for assessing what extra information, such as standard errors and asterisks, is needed to help interpretation. |
