| Abstract: | The archives in Manchu language could be taken as the historical witness of administrating Tibet by the late Qing government.The name of the 11th Dalai Lama could be translated as Kaizhujiacuo,who had a good relation with the Qing government.He followed Emperor Xianfeng’s imperial edict,chanted sutras for empress dowager Dahang,prayed for happiness and was highly praised by Emperor Xianfeng,and thereby was granted gifts by the emperor. |
