| Abstract: | There are occasional mistakes in lexical interpretation of a "perfect"dictionary.This may be caused by the lexicographer's interpretation of lexical items of the dictionary.On the other hand,the critical interpreter's limited knowledge of word meaning is yet another reason.This paper discuses the role of the critical interpreter in the historical development of word meaning and his inherent limitations. |
