现代新儒家的责任思想建立在人的生存脉络基础之上,不仅包括家庭责任,也包括社会责任、民族责任、文化责任、人类责任及宇宙责任等。责任的复杂性是无限复杂的现实生活的反映和需要。当不同的责任发生冲突时,现代新儒家认为应当以更普遍的责任超越狭隘的责任,承担普遍性责任意味着特殊责任在更高意义上的实现。在现代新儒家看来,承担责任是人的生命存在方式和价值实现方式。其责任伦理思想以人与人、人与社会、人与自然的相关性为基础,体现为责任对象及责任承担的相关性。

Family or Society?——A Research on Responsible Ethics of Contemporary New Confucianism

The concept of the responsibility of Contemporary New Confucianism respects the context of human existence,including not only household responsibilities,but also social responsibility,national responsibility,cultural responsibility,human responsibility and cosmic responsibility.The complexity of the responsibility is a profound reflection for infinitely complex reality.When different responsibilities conflict,Contemporary New Confucianism thinks more general responsibilities should beyond the narrow responsibility because to achieve more universal responsibility means to fulfill the special responsibility,such as family responsibility.In their opinion,taking responsibility is the existence of human life,as well as the realization of human values.The concept of responsibility reflects relevance not only the object of responsibility but also the way of taking responsibility as it is based on the relevance of individual and individual,individual and society,as well humanity and nature.
