大众化时代精英高等教育的危机与定位

我国的精英高等教育在大众化时代面临看严重的危机。一方面，精英教育机构普遍举办了大量低层次高等教育，冲淡了精英教育的主题。另一方面，部分水平不高的地方院校盲目升格办研究生教育但水平普遍偏低，致使精英教育日趋大众化。尽管如此，精英教育的存在仍有其自身的合理性与合法性基础，应该得以保持和加强。我国的精荚高等教育应该重点由研究型大学来实施，树立精英人才培养理念，构建精英教育体系，为国家培养高层次创造性人才。

The crisis of elite higher education and its definition in our time

In the age of mass education, the elite higher education faces a serious crisis. On one hand, elite education has been diluted as a result of more mass ducation in elite higher education institutions. On the other hand, many low level colleges have started postgraduate education, which make elite education more popular. Nevertheless, the pure elite higher education should be preserved and enhanced, because its existence has its own rationality and legality basis. The Chinese elite higher education should run by research-oriented universities and they should hold advanced vision and construct an elite education system to train creative talents.
