摘    要:研究以Swain的输出假设为理论基础,分析作为负反馈形式之一的要求澄清和输出的检验假设功能对动词过去式习得的作用和影响。采用前测—实验—后测的实证研究方法,研究上述两个因素对于过去式习得的影响。结果证明:要求澄清和检验假设功能可以促使学习者修改错误的语法形式,帮助学习者更好地控制和掌握已进入他们中介语系统的语法规则,使其中介语系统更加接近目标语,并提高他们习得这一语法规则的能力。

The Influences of Clarification Request and Hypothesis-testing Function of Output on Past Tense Acquisition

Abstract:Based on the output hypothesis proposed by Merril Swain,the present study investigates into the influences of clarification request and the hypothesis-testing function of output on the past tense acquisition.It makes good advantage of the empirical design of pretest-treatment-posttest and explores the functions of the above-mentioned two factors.The collected data in the study suggest that the clarification request and hypothesis-testing function of output will push learners to modify the inaccurate forms of the target language and thus contribute to the acquisition of past tense;in addition,they lend some aids to the control over the grammatical forms learners have already acquired and benefit their acquisitionality.
