毛泽东人口理论及启示

毛泽东肯定了人口在革命和建设中的重要作用,提出了“中国人口众多是一件极大的好事”、“革命加生产”等观点,形成了毛泽东人口理论;然而,当人口的快速增长以及由此产生的矛盾显现的时候,毛泽东毅然提出了控制人口增长的主张,从而丰富和发展了这一理论。今天我们统筹解决人口问题应当以史为鉴：既要坚持实事求是,坚持走自己的人口统筹道路,又要坚持把人口理论与国情结合起来,用中国化的马克思主义人口理论来指导中国的人口实践。

Mao Zedong's Population Theory and Its Implications

Mao Zedong affirmed the importance of people during the revolution and construction periods and put forward the id- ea that more people means more strength, which has gradually developed into Mao Zedong＇s population theory. However, with the population increasing fast, Mao Zedong decided to control population growth. In population control nowadays, we need to take history as mirror, take full account of the national conditions and take Marxism as the guiding theory in the practice of population control work.
