| Abstract: | The origin of the mutual comprehension among the theorists on Marxism, on the Montage school of thought in the former USSR, on the leftist movement of film in the 1930's in China, and on the ideological criticism of the theory on film in France indicates the birth of Marxist theory on films and the development of their cooperation. Now when the Western theory is getting closer towards us, we should lose no chance to catch this opportunity to establish a positive position for mutual comprehension. |
