Abstract:Public relations (PR) can play an irreplaceable role in modern marketing.At a time when switch of economic system pattern in China's state owned enterprises is in progress and when China's market legislation is not perfect enough, more attention should be paid to fuller play of the role by PR in the marketing strategy of enterprises by establishing the concept of macro marketing, setting up PR sections, promoting PR standards, and attaching importance to PR skills.
