| 摘 要： | 在朝鲜战争战俘问题上,美英立场迥异。美国坚持＂自愿遣返＂,而英国赞成＂强制遣返＂这一由《日内瓦公约》规定的原则。两国围绕＂阿迪斯报告＂和战俘＂甄别＂、＂梅农方案＂以及＂以打促谈＂产生了较大分歧,也进行了艰苦协调。从某种意义上讲,这种分歧与协调有助于停战协定的早日签署。

| Abstract: | The USA and UK differed greatly in the issue of POWs in Korean War.The USA stuck to the principle of ＂voluntary repatriation＂ while UK insisted on ＂forced repatriation＂ which is stipulated in the Geneva Convention.Great differences arose between America and Britain concerning ＂Addis Report＂,the screening of the POWs,Menon Proposal,and getting an upper hand in the negotiations by pressurizing China.In the meanwhile,difficult coordination was carried out between the two countries.In a sense,the differences and coordination were helpful to the earlier signing of the Korean armistice agreement. |
