| Abstract: | Translation is an activity of communication between two languages. Thinking and language are closely interrelated. This article starts with a brief explanation of the relation between thinking and language. Then it goes on to probe some differences in modes of thinking in both the English and Chinese languages, and searches for some reasonable resolutions for transplanting and transformingthe thinking modes in English and Chinese. |
