新世纪高校题材小说的创作缺失

新世纪以来高校题材小说在繁盛的背后存在诸多不足：一是物塑造的扁平化、浅薄化、符号化;二是小说情节的庸俗化;三是作家审美创新能力的弱化。这些都是窒碍当代知识分子题材小说进一步发展的阻力,不仅反映作家的审美价值取向和对高校知识分子现状的认识存在偏颇,更显示出当代作家在叙事能力和审美创新方面的无力。

On the Lack of Fiction with College Life As Its Subject Matter in the New Century

Ever since the beginning of the New Century,fiction about college life bears many a deficiency in spite of its blooming： First,the complanation,the shallowness and the symbolization of its characterization;Secondly,the vulgarization of its plot;thirdly,the weakening of the writer＇s ability of aesthetic innovation,and so on.These are all obstructions stifling and even hindering novels of contemporary intellectuals to develop further,not only reflecting the writer＇s bias in his orientation of aesthetic values,and in his understanding of the status of intellectuals at colleges and universities,but the more demonstrating the incompetence of contemporary writers in their narrative and aesthetic innovation.
