试谈形容词与不及物动词的有效区分

目前能够用来区分形容词和不及物动词的标准，不外乎意义、形态、语法功能三种。事实上，依靠单一的标准是不可行的：意义标准主观性太强；形态标准则普遍性不够，而且还会出现自相矛盾的情况；语法功能标准也无法自圆其说。只有意义标准和语法功能标准相结合才能把二者有效地区分。

On Differentiation between Adjectives and Intransitive Verbs

Up to now,the standards of differentiating the adjectives from the intransitive verbs only include the semantic standard,the modality standard and the grammatical function standard.In fact,it is not feasible if we use only one standard since the semantic standard is too subjective while the modality standard is not universal enough.What's more,the standards themselves will contradict with each other and the grammatical function standard also can't justify itself.Only if semantic standard combines with the grammatical function standard can we differentiate the adjectives from the intransitive verbs effectively.
