生态文明是发展中国特色社会主义的抉择

十七大报告把建设生态文明作为全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。"生态文明"首次载入中央文件,这是我们党科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会理念的又一个重大理论创新。生态文明是中国特色社会主义发展的方向,建设生态社会主义的方向。它将包括世界观、价值观和思维方式转变,政治体制、生产方式和生活方式转变。生态文明为中华民族复兴提供重要的战略机遇:高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,抓住和运用好这个战略机遇,走中国人自己的道路,加快生态社会主义建设进程,用生态文明点燃人类新文明之光,以生态文明引领世界的未来。这是中华民族伟大的历史使命,将是中华民族对人类的新的伟大贡献。

Ecological Civilization: Choice of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

In the report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the CPC,ecological civilization is defined as the goal of the construction of a well-off society.Ecological civilization,which is a scientific development view of the CPC and an innovation in socialist theory,is quoted in government document for the first time.It includes change in world view,values and thinking mode and the transference in political system,productive and living style. Ecological civilization provides strategic opportunity for Chinese nation.With the guiding of ecological civilization,Chinese nation will accelerate the socialist construction procedure and make greater contribution to human beings.
