关于秀山杨氏土司的几个问题

秀山杨氏土司为唐末诚州刺史杨再思之后。其民族成分为土家族。而同是杨再思后裔的杨姓族人有土家族、苗族、侗族、瑶族、布依族、水族等民族成分，这无疑是与当地民族融合的结果。秀山杨氏族人的字派主要采用“再政通光昌胜秀”七字轮转，而其他地方杨姓族人则纷繁复杂。秀山杨氏土司治下的土兵在明代及清初，多次奉征参加各种军事活动，并为反对分裂、维护祖国统一作出过一定贡献。
