论学习层级理论在英语语法教学中的应用

语法教学是外语教学中的一个重要组成部分,无论是从语言的本质、外语教学的特点等方面,还是从外语学习者的认知能力的培养的角度都说明了这一点。语言之所以是人类最重要的交际工具是因为它的系统性,系统性表现在它有极强的规则性。语法规则是语言的主要组成部分,是语言得以成为语言的根本条件之一。在语法教学中,以美国著名教育心理学家加涅提出的学习层级理论为指导,对所学语法规则的概念、结构、用法有所认识的同时,提供给学生一定的语境加以运用和比较。语法学习重在语言实践而不是语法本身,了解了语法知识并不足以进行真正的语言交际。语法运用的不恰当常常会严重束缚人们的交际能力。
