| 摘 要： | 英国福公司是中国近代史上以河南为基地的一家大型外资企业。作者系统地研究了英国福公司在中国投资经营活动过程中所经历的独资和合资两个阶段,阐述了它以开办煤矿为主,兼营铁路、铁矿、转运、对外贸易及兴办教育事业等,对我国的政治、经济和文化教育事业都产生了一定的影响。

| Abstract: | British Hope,based in Henan,was a large joint venture in the modern history of China.The article probes into the two phases of single proprietorship and joint venture of Hope's activity in China,and demonstrates the fact systematically that it began with management of coal mining,and railway,iron ore,transportation,foreign trade,and even education as well.And Hope has exerted certain influence over politics,economy,and education of our country. |
