说“诗圣”

诗人杜甫被尊为诗圣,是经历了一个过程的:宋人是视杜甫为诗圣的,但诗圣成为杜甫的专称则在明代中后期以后。而杜甫的被称为诗圣,包括两个方面的意义:一是指诗艺的高超绝伦,一是指道德修养达到极高的境界,足以为人师表,为人们所景仰和崇拜。杜甫忧国忧民的爱国思想,仁民爱物的博大胸襟,舍己为人的奉献精神和精妙绝伦的诗歌艺术,仍是我们所应继承和发扬光大的。他诗圣的桂冠是当之无愧的。

On Sage Poet

Du Fu was accknowledged as the Sage Poet after a certain period of time.Although people of the Song Dynasty treated him as the Sage Poet,this title doesn’t become solidified until the middle Ming Dynasty.Du fu was called a sage poet for two reasons: he was unparalleled in his poetic achievements and he reached the epitome of moral standards which made him worthy of respect and admiration by others.His patriotic thoughts,broad mind,self-sacrificing devotion and marvelous poetic artistic achievements are to be inherited and promoted.His contributions speak volumes for his title of Sage Poet.
