| Abstract: | By illuminating the professional defectiveness existing on some foreign language professionals which is apparently due to the problems in current foreign language education,this paper points out that politics and culture are the profound factors which lead to the defectiveness in current foreign language education.To solve the problems and to bring up full capable foreign language professionals,the author suggests that a new insight on language and culture from an ideological viewpoint would be helpful to carrying out an objective and overall education of foreign language,and that a practical reform on foreign language education aiming at this target would be to introduce creative foreign language education methodology. |
