略论新加坡的政治发展模式

从政治转型方式的变化趋势来看，近代以来世界各国是由革命向改良、暴力向温和转变的，新加坡乃至中国的政治发展尽管各有特点但并未脱离这一趋势，因而不必过多地强调其特殊性。从政治发展来看，新加坡一直以较强的政治现代性来主导现代化进程，与东亚和绝大多数后发展国家相比，这一点表现得相当突出。在政治体制、法治社会和文化构建方面以其现代性带动的民主化既有相当的生命力，贯串于整个现代化进程，又是一种渐进性的和依附性的民主。
