Vom Analytiker zum Supervisor

In psychoanalytic training, supervisors as a rule are appointed contingent on their appealing as training analysts. Although both functions are at the core of psychoanalytic training, neither specific qualifications are required beyond professional and teaching experience and personal aptitude, nor are qualification measures provided. The authors argue for the necessity of a specific qualification programme, and describe a training model especially designed for psychoanalytic training supervision, which is in practice since 2016 at the Munich “Akademie für Psychoanalyse und Psychotherapie”.
