In the process of globalization,English,as a dominant language,has become a double-edged sword.On the one hand,it accelerates the process of globalization;on the other hand,it serves as a tool of cultural imperialism,which threatens the language and culture of the importing countries.Faced with this shock,we should meet the challenge courageously and give active play to the Chinese language and culture in the process of globalization.
