The Evolution of the Relationship between the Later Jin Dynasty(Qing) and Korea during the Period from 1627 to 1636

The crucial period from 1627 to 1636 saw Korea's change from a dependent country under the Ming Dynasty to the Later Jin Dynasty(Qing).The transition underwent three stages and each stage faced a hard struggle between Korea's secession from the Later Jin Dynasty and the Later Jin's anti-secession. As the contradictions were sharpening, the semi-dependent country at the beginning of the war had become a dependent one at the end. Therefore, it was worthwhile for Korea to ponder over how to settle its foreign affairs while the situation remained tense and volatile in Northeast Asia.
