Gradual Advancing Reform and Developing Analysis of RMB Exchange Rate Formative Mechanism

This paper shows in its demonstrative analysis that the reform of RMB exchange rate system works. The exchange rate formative mechanism, in reference to a package of currencies, has played, and is playing an important role. In the orderly and gradually advancing and dynamic process of reform, there exist structural changes in the formative mechanism of RMB exchange rate. Therefore, on the road of furthering the reform of exchange rate system, it is imperative for the central bank to adopt appropriate measures to see to the maintenance of the stability and flexibility of the exchange rate.
