摘    要:由于中西文化存在很大的差异,对于口译员来说,除了掌握译出语语言表层次的信息外,更要掌握译出语语言深层次的文化内涵。在口译过程中,若不恰当处理文化冲突,就会产生误解,导致交际中止。因此,口译员应不断扩大中西方文化的知识面,在实践中提高对中西方文化冲突的沟通和处理能力。

Abstract:Because of differences of the cultures,interpreters are required to do both the surface interpretation of the language itself and the deep interpretation of the meaning conveyed in that culture.During the process of interpretation,dealing with cultural conflict inappropriately can cause misunderstanding,resulting in communicative suspension.This paper analyses the cultural conflict caused by the cultural differences,emphasizes how to communicate and treats cultural conflict and finally sums up several effective methods of communication and treatment.
