| 摘 要： | 美南亚政策的调整使美印关系在本世纪一开始即经历了前所未有的快速升温阶段。美印关系升温的背后有两国共同的利益追求但却也存在诸多的分岐。我们认为 ,美国在两国关系发展中占有更多的主动权 ,而美印关系的未来发展主要取决于美国对印度战略地位的认可以及美国是否满意印度对美国利益追求的屈从。

US-India Relations under the New US Strategy towards South Asia |

| Abstract: | US-India relations have seen great improvements in recent years due to the re-adjustment of American strategy towards South Asia. There exist shared interests as well as differences in various fields behind the improvements. We argue in this paper that the Americans have more say in US-India relationship and that the future of the relationship depends on how the Americans define India's role in the world and on whether they are satisfied with India's submission to American pursuit of interests. |
