童话的主要作用是教化儿童这一观念具体影响到童话创作、亲子阅读、幼儿园童话欣赏活动。教化是童话的功能之一,童话本质是审美的,童话的功能都应通过审美来实现。童话教化观念的存在一方面受到儿童观的影响,另一方面又与中国传统文化中的文以载道文艺观紧密相连。
