梁质人小传

梁份是我国清初的著名学者,一生作品颇丰,尤其是在地理学方面有着独到的成就。他与同期的其他学者也有着深厚的交往。梁份在年少时期的坎坷经历,与师从的学术派系,对其处世态度和治学方法产生了巨大的影响,使他成为一名不踏足仕途的实践型学者,著就了《西陲今略》和《帝陵图说》两部对后世具有重要意义的地理学作品。

A Short Biography of Liang Fen

Liang Fen was a famous scholar of early Qing Dynasty, who produced a great many works. His achievement was original, especially in the field of geography. He also had close contact with other scholars of the same period. The rough experiences during his youth and the learning faction affected Liang Fen's attitude to the society and his means of study. That makes Liang a scholar of practice, who never came into official career. Liang Fen's two geography works entitled Summary of Present-Day Western Borderland and Graphic Solution of Royal Mausoleum had great significance to the following ages.
