传统的政治史观着眼于过往政治和权力博弈的成败得失.在其观照下难以获得对历史充分、公允和客观的认识.其研究成果缺乏普适性、持久性,难以为当今社会管理提供"资治"之用.而以文化史观去观照人类文明演进的历史,将文化作为社会发展的全部内容,才能提供一个更为宏观、系统、公正、普适和长久的历史评判视角.从政治史观走向文化史观,是时代的要求,也是史学真正为社会发展提供养分的必然趋势.
