| Abstract: | This paper discusses the successful development of t he subject of teachers' colloquial language, compares the traditional linguistic t heories with the actual practice of language teaching describes the changes happ ening between the linguistic theories and the practice of language teaching and concludes that this linguistic theory as well as language teaching practice shou ld be followed in the new century. |
