| Abstract: | This paper shows up the difference of total saving (only referring to the residents’ saving deposits, not including the real saving and other financial savings ) growth between the residents in urban and rural areas since the economic system reform; then from five aspects such as income level, income structure, interest rate effect, anticipated inflation and abnormal components of the residents’ saving deposits, the authors make a case study to find out the reason that form the difference and address the characteristics of changed residents’ saving behaviors in urban and rural areas. |
