网络时代外文期刊资源体系的构建

外文期刊作为高校图书馆的一种重要学术信息资源，对高校的教学和科研起着其它文献无法替代的作用。外文期刊的价格持续上涨、外文期刊需求不断扩大给普通高校图书馆外文期刊资源体系的构建带来极大的困难。必须立足现实、创新观念，“理性”建设外文期刊资源体系；同时注重开发和充分利用外文期刊信息资源，提高外文期刊信息资源保障能力，扬长避短，建立合理有效的能最大限度地满足最多外刊用户需求的外刊资源保障体系。

Constructing a System of Foreign-Periodical Resources in the Internet Era

Foreign periodicals are important resources of academic information in college libraries, whose roles in facilitating the teaching and academic research can hardly be replaced by other documents. The soaring prices of and increasing demands for foreign periodicals are, however, a real challenge to college libraries in the purchase and management of foreign-periodical resources. Therefore, college libraries have to, in the light of their realities, seek new and more "rational" ways for the management of foreign-periodical resources. Meanwhile, importance should be attached to better accessibility to and utilization of the existing resources, so as to construct a system of foreign-periodical resources that can satisfy, to the largest extent, the needs of most users.
