| 摘 要： | 弹劾制度是美国政治制度的重要组成部分,它体现了分权与制衡的基本原则和精神.这项制度源于中世纪的英国,由移民带到北美,成为殖民地人民与宗主国英国进行斗争的工具之一.美国独立后,弹劾制作为民主传统被写进宪法,并演化为立法监督行政、司法的重要机制.

| Abstract: | Impeachment is one of the important parts of American political system. It embodies the basic principle and spirit of the check and balance. Impeachment originated from England in the Middle Ages, and was brought to North American by immigrants, then became one of the struggling tools between the Colony and England. After independence, impeachment was whiten into the Constitution as democratic tradition and developed into the main system of the Lgislature supervising the Executive and Judiciary. |
