埃及与联合国及其安理会的关系

埃及是联合国51个创始成员国之一，自联合国成立之日起，埃及就积极支持联合国的各项工作。虽然联合国在维护埃及和阿拉伯国家利益方面也发挥了一定的积极作用，但总的来说，作用有限。埃及希望联合国及其安理会进行改革，加强其在维护地区和平与安全方面的作用。

Relations of Egypt and the United Nations and Its Security Council

Egypt is one of the 51 countries which initiated the founding of the United Nations. Since the beginning, Egypt has been an enthusiastic supporter of UN cause. Though UN has played some positive role in maintaining Middle East peace, yet generally speaking, UN's role is limited. Egypt hopes that UN and its Security Council will reform to better reflect the interests of the developing world and strengthen its role in maintaining regional peace.
