| 摘 要： | 外宣翻译已成为翻译研究的一个热门话题,但对"外宣翻译"这一术语的翻译仍不统一。我们首先分析了广义的"外宣"和狭义的"外宣",并结合传播学的有关理论探讨了"外宣"一词的英译,然后对"外宣翻译"的多种英译进行归类,从词汇意义、感情色彩、术语特征等方面进行对比分析,最后得出,"外宣翻译"宜译为International Publicity Translation。
