20世纪前期好莱坞影片的汉译传播

20世纪前半期美国在华平均每年发行影片超过三百部,这个数字占中国电影放映市场每年总量的百分之八十。面对这样庞大的一个外片市场,如何消化是一个严峻问题。在这几十年间,中国的外片经理商和美国的电影制片商先后尝试过用口译、中文字幕、译意风和风语配音等方法以便让好莱坞影片更好地融入中国社会。

The Spreading of Hollywood Films in Chinese Version in the First Half of the 20th Century

In the first half of the 20th century,every year,the United States issued more than 300 films in China,which took 80% of the total number in the Chinese film market.How to absorb such a great number of foreign films is a problem to overcome.During the decades,both Chinese managers of foreign films and American filmmakers made a variety of attempts at dubbing in Chinese so as to blend Hollywood films into the Chinese society.This essay,from the four aspects of interpreting,Chinese captions,simultaneous interpretation installation and dubbing in Chinese,makes a sorting-out of the spreading of Hollywood films in Chinese version.
