Sun Li has created a series of new female characters.They have unique characteristic,which always make people feel fresher every time they read them .When making a comprehensive survey,we can see that the studies on Sun Li's female characters has gone through three developing stages:before the "the Culture Revolution",80s and since 90s.Every stage had its own symbol,but there still left some problems unresolved.The paper summarizes the studies on Sun Li's female characters since Sun Li started creating literature works to this day.
