汉语间接拒绝语的性别特征研究

通过对DCT测试问卷调查而得的3 289例汉语拒绝策略的性别特征进行分析,结果表明:受汉语言文化"贬己尊人、男尊女卑"思想的影响,受试者大都选择以间接委婉的方式拒绝他人,尽量避免威胁他人的面子。但男性倾向于使用直接确定的语言来主导交际,维护自身的面子;而女性对社会地位更为敏感,更多地使用委婉礼貌的语言维护他人的面子,以合作的态度参与交际。

Chinese Indirect Refusals and their Gender Features

Gender features of the 3289 Chinese refusal strategies are studied through a DCT questionnaire test.Results show that affected by the principle of respectfulness and modesty,as well as the inferiority of females to males in Chinese culture,both male and female students are likely to refuse indirectly and avoid threatening the refusee’s face.But males are more competitive,tend to refuse more directly to protect their own face;while females are more sensitive of social status and more cooperative,tend to refuse politely to maintain the refusee’s face.
