| 摘 要： | 秦结束战国干戈扰攘、诸侯割据的混乱局面,历二世而亡,仅15个春秋。恐惧心理在秦朝"其亡也忽焉"的命运中是不可忽视的因素。一是秦始皇出于对"亡秦者胡也"的恐惧极力戍边和出于对六国旧贵族的恐惧而焚书坑儒;二是当朝权臣出于恐惧而只能偷合苟容而导致"秦皇帝居灭绝之中而不自知";三是违背伦理纲常的严刑刻法使普通民众难以适应而时时刻刻都处在胆战心惊之中。社会变革力度远远超越人们的心理承受能力而导致帝王、群卿乃至庶人都处于恐惧之中而又没有合理的消解渠道,这才是压倒大秦王朝的最后一根稻草。
